About the Author
Lana Lynne is the author pen name of Lana Lynne Higginbotham in the fiction genre. She is a member of ACFW and the East Texas Christian Writers group. Lana balanced a career as a speech-language pathologist with her writing until late November 2019. A step of faith led her to step away from the role of SLP to spend more time with family and to focus on her writing. Lana’s books are published by Winged Publications under the leadership of Cynthia Hickey. Her novels include Home Always Beckons: A New Sunrise, Trails of Change: A New Sunset, Sunbeams at Twilight: A Life’s Echo, and A Compass of Stars in Her Eyes—a post-Civil War historical fiction romance series; the Whimsy’s Heart Books: Whimsy Michaels and Her Amazing Room and Stephen Michaels and His Upside-down Umbrella—works of contemporary Christian fiction; The Adventures of Bo Jack—a historical fiction based on/inspired by a family member’s childhood memories; Picnics, Plays, and Autograph-Book Days—a historical fiction novella based on/inspired by the author’s maternal grandparents’ 1920s love story; Three Whistles Around the Bend—a Firebird Book award-winning Christian historical fiction romance novella; The Wildness of Spring, a contemporary romance novella; and her newest release, Moonlight and Freedom. It is the prequel to the post-Civil War series started by her first book, Home Always Beckons: A New Sunrise.

Lana lives with her husband in East Texas. They are empty nesters and proud grandparents.
