Review Title: Experience the Lure of the American West
Although the Pony Express lasted less than two years, it has become part of the legend of the American West. Whitson has an excellent eye for historical detail. Her well-drawn characters are a delight. Readers will want a sequel that delves into the secondary characters who have stories of their own to tell. BOTTOM LINE: A perfect story for summertime reading for teens and adults. A great companion work for educators teaching the history of the American West. The storyline provides just enough information on the Pony Express to lead students of all ages to non-fiction materials for more information.

Review Title: Look Inside the Greatest Show on Earth!
Impeccable research and soul searing characters are the hallmark of a novel written by Kristy Cambron. With The Ringmaster's Wife, Cambron has reached a new height of brilliance. Cambron's writing evokes the circus in all its glamour as well as the darker side of life on the road: petty jealousies, fierce competition, and deception. Setting is a character that is alive and well here. BOTTOM LINE: Readers seeking an escape into another world of lush settings,…

Review Title: A Great Book Group Choice for Adults or Teens
Both those who read for character and those who read for plot will find much to like here. The characters are realistically flawed and well-developed. The heartwarming romance between Luka and Emily is beautifully crafted and appropriate for all ages. The foreboding tone and swift plot twists will keep readers glued to the page and feeling slightly off balance until they slam into the jaw-dropping ending. This is a story begging to be made into a TV series or a movie, perhaps both. I would recommend this title for those adults who enjoy YA fiction and psychological suspense. Book groups will enjoy…
