Oh BabyBy Delia LathamDescription:
Dawni Manors is happy to see San Antonio in her rearview mirror. In search of peace, she rents a unit at Heart’s Haven, a quaint cottage-rental complex in East Texas. The place is said to be a hangout for angels—and for love. Dawni's not looking for love, and she's not convinced angels exist. What she yearns for, after a chaotic childhood as an orphan, is tranquility and hope. Maybe she'll find those things at Heart’s Haven. Book Takeaway:God never abandons His children. Never. Even in our darkest hour, He's there. Even when we can't feel His presence, He's with us. We can rest in knowing our heavenly Father is near, and that He cares. Why the author wrote this book:Oh Baby is 1 of 4 books in the Heart's Haven Babies collection. Each of the books had to have the word "baby" in the title, and be focused on some type of baby. I've always been heartbroken by abandoned babies, so of course that's where my mind automatically went when this project was introduced. Hence, the abandoned baby found by a woman who'd been abandoned as an infant. |
