A Crooked Arrow Christmas

By Jenna Hendricks

Description:

Marnie Gallagher has a bit of a chip on her shoulders, and Declan Walden just wants a chance to get past the frosty exterior of the Air Force veteran. He knows she has a soft heart, but for some reason she just refuses to show it. Especially to him.

Marnie doesn't need anyone's friendship. And she certainly doesn't need anyone's pity. The first time she met Declan, that's what she saw in his eyes. The second time they met, she wasn't sure what his eyes were telling her, but it wasn't good.

As Marnie and Declan get to know each other, will they realize they have more in common than they thought? Both have overcome difficult pasts and are searching for a sense of purpose. Marnie finds comfort in the quiet and simple life on the ranch, while Declan discovers a newfound sense of meaning in helping Marnie heal.

As Christmas approaches, Marnie and Declan grow closer and their feelings for each other deepen. But when Marnie's past catches up with her, they must both confront the ghosts of their pasts in order to find a future together.

Filled with heartwarming moments, romantic tension, and plenty of cowboy charm, "A Crooked Arrow Christmas" is a Christmas romance that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside, no matter the temperature outside.

Book Takeaway:

Don't forget the reason for the season. Jesus' birth is the real meaning behind Christmas, even though all of the other stuff is a lot of fun.

Why the author wrote this book:

I wanted to explore what a Christmas in Frenchtown might look like. I've also wanted to write about a live nativity, but didn't have the right story to tell along with it, until now. While this is a romance book, it's also a traditional Christmas book with the story of Baby Jesus told via a life nativity.
