Hope's Healing Love

By Jenna Hendricks

Description:

It’ll take more than fireworks to scare this cowgirl away.

Hope Lowry, moved to Frenchtown, Montana to help her aunt and uncle run their ranch. She didn’t come to town to meet a handsome wounded veteran. No siree, no way. Ahhh, chicken and hash! Why can’t a girl get a break from handsome men?

Anthony Sullivan grew up on a ranch, so when he was given the chance to recuperate at the Crooked Arrow Ranch, he knew that was the right place for him.

When the 4th of July parade causes more sparks than a whole crate of sparklers, what’s a girl to do?

But Anthony isn’t interested in a romance. And he knows that no woman would be interested in a beast like him. How could she?

When they decided to take a ride through the ranch land, to celebrate their new friendship, they really should have paid more attention to the forest fire. A fire that had changed as quickly as the wind that carried it all the way to the Crooked Arrow Ranch.

Will Anthony be able to save them both from the ravages of the flames surrounding them?

Book Takeaway:

What's on the outside shouldn't be the only thing we look at. The more important part is who we are on the inside. What our relationship with God is like. And there is help out there for veterans, even when the VA fails them.

Why the author wrote this book:

To give hope to the wounded vets in our country and to show that just because someone is scarred on the outside doesn't mean they aren't beautiful in God's eyes. I also wanted our veterans to know that someone cares for them, even when the system lets them down.
