Only God can get him out of the mess he’s made of his life.God says he is redeemed, but will the one woman he loved, the one he’d betrayed be able to do the same?

Book Takeaway:

Redemption is possible.
Forgiveness is mandatory,
With God, all things are possible to those who believe.

Why the author wrote this book:

This book is a stand alone sequel to my novel Shades of the Orient, one that highlights and redeems the villain of that story.
This was a tough one for me to write because on a personal level I was fighting to forgive a number of individuals who betrayed and hurt my family and I on a deep level. I resisted writing it for a time because writing about forgiveness and redemption meant being willing to offer it to those who caused me pain. My mom once asked if the female character in this story represented me... I replied, no, the character who was spiritually strong, yet asked to step in the gap for the enemy held pieces of my heart. Like him, I struggled, but in the end chose obedience. Scripture says when a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies be at peace with him. As a result of obedience, like the characters in this book, those who cause me the most pain have actually made peace with me. (It took years, but God is faithful. I had to be obedient to truly forgive.)
