Montana Moon

By JD Hurst

Description:

Penny Harden is finally free to go where the buffalo roam. But she and her furry entourage need to eat, so a job she must get.
Grant Clark is as strong and steady as the granite filled mountains surrounding him. But he and his cowboys need to eat…real food, so a job he must fill.
They stumble upon each other and soon learn that resistance is futile.
Like it or not, God will use the job to bring them together and set them free.

Book Takeaway:

Changing your plan doesn't mean giving up on the freedom God gave you. Letting God show you a new way is not as painful as it might seem. Compromise within a relationship must be a two-way street to make it work. And just because everything gets turned upside down, doesn't mean it won't fall into place in any other way than God intends it.

Why the author wrote this book:

Because I'm probably going to end up wandering the country with a furry entourage one day if my husband has the gall to head for heaven without me.:) Penny's story may one day resemble my own but I really don't want to think about losing my best friend. But really, I'm an old cowgirl who never got to go on a real cattle drive (just a mini drive from one pasture to another) that loves camping and delights in cooking great food over a campfire. Can't wait to tell Ford, Bray and Simmey's stories later on down the road!
