Why the author wrote this book:

Because it's been rattling around inside my head, keeping me awake at night, for years. I had it memorized by the time I finally put it on paper! This was the turning point for me. No more hogging my stories, keeping them to myself. I let my mama read it, and when she said it was good, I released myself to pursue writing full time.
