At their first encounter after his return, he notices she wears an engagement ring and his heart plummets. Can he accept them as friends or should he fight for more? Through overcoming dangerous obstacles is his new faith strong enough to rely on the Lord?

Book Takeaway:

Fear is real but you cannot let it control you. You need to trust the Lord.

Why the author wrote this book:

Its centered in the place of my birth. This romantic suspense came to me in the middle of the night. The characters are rich, there is a spiritual aspect, and tremendous struggles both emotional and physical. Fear is a huge deal as someone is trying to kill Jalyn. All the pieces fell into place and I enjoyed writing this book.
