By Robin Densmore Fuson

Description:

A call from her parents sets Ashley Applegate, on a course to persuade her fiancé, Garrett, to join her in Glenwood Springs, a town in the rugged Colorado Mountains. His parents join them on this adventure to build lasting relationships. The Thanksgiving turkey meal introduces twists to the lives of the families. Ashley’s sensitive heart senses Garrett is up to something and struggles with the trust she knows she should give.
Snow covered landscapes are the backdrop to develop and strengthen relationships with friends and family. Unexpected events bring joy and tears to the lives of this young couple. From snowmobile rides, skiing, and hot mineral springs, to shopping and finding the perfect dress—can you think of a better way to spend Thanksgiving?

Book Takeaway:

Garrett and Ashley come from totally different backgrounds. His family is well off and hers are missionaries. He wants to spoil her and she needs to learn to let him. Creative romance is woven all through this story even in the midst of frightful emergencies.

Why the author wrote this book:

Love in the Colorado mountains and holidays has to be a good combination for a story. I love romance and weddings and combining those with one of my favorite holidays, Thanksgiving, well, my mind went crazy with the story idea. My mom said something about finding a message in a turkey and here is the rest. The research was fun as well. The spot for the wedding...well read it for yourself.
