We can't retreat back into the past, nor can we change the past, but that doesn't mean the past cannot rear its head in the present to stir things up to impact the future.

Why the author wrote this book:

Readers of Sanctuary inquired about a sequel as I began to formulate the storyline. Just as the readers weren't ready to walk away from little ol' Shiloh and its cast of colorful characters, neither was I. In fact, a third story is in the works for 2019 release.
