Don't Tell Anyone I Read RomanceBy Annilee NelsonDescription:
Edmund Bennett loves books and literature. Words and stories are his thing. They're his place to be an expert. That being said, there are some stories, such as romances, which he deems to be drivel. To him, romances are fanciful pieces of fluff that aren't worth his time to read, and happily ever afters are the stuff of fairytales, not the real world. Book Takeaway:Ephesians 2:10 says "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (NIV) We have each been uniquely designed by God for the purpose of showing His love and goodness to others. We each have to learn how to fill that place in which God has put us to the full. And sometimes, we need the help of those who love us to do it. Why the author wrote this book:This book is part of a series of books about people attempting to live their lives in a way that pleases God as they find love. The main characters in this book are young and still really discovering who they are and learning to boldly stand out as that person. That's not easy to do - especially when you know you'll face criticism and/or you tend to be reserved and hate to be wrong. |
