Author Bio:

Allen, a life-long Hoosier, began writing while her children were teens and she was office manager for an otolaryngologist/plastic surgeon. She's blogged and created monthly newsletters for various organizations, and freelanced feature articles for the community section of the La Porte Herald Argus. Named La Porte County Poet Laureate in 2010, she continues to read poetry throughout the summer at La Porte Arts in the Park, as well as writing their weekly media releases. She was commissioned to pen a poem for the Lincoln Highway Association, which displays on their kiosk at the La Porte Chamber of Commerce. Her debut fiction, "God's Love Most Gentle" released in 2016 after writing three books of contemporary, easy-to-read poetry, “Journey to Christmas”, “Ten Days to an Empty Tomb”, and “Full Spectrum Living”. Despite two years of debilitating illness, in 2017 she released "The Invitation", a beautifully Illustrated children's Bible story of Jesus and the rich, young ruler. Allen is a longtime member of American Christian Fiction Writers and a charter member of the Indiana Chapter of the ACFW.
