Diogenes Ruiz is a fiction writer whose stories are compelling. He merges suspense, mystery, and fantasy creating interesting characters in situations that stretch your imagination. His use of humor, combined with the tempo and pace of his writing, create highly effective page turners.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Diogenes grew up in New York City's Washington Heights. Although he is not a lover of grits, Diogenes currently lives in North Carolina and has not yet been deported by the grits Police.

His debut novel, "A Rabbit's Tale An Easter Story" received the 2015 Global eBook Gold Medal Award in the category of Christian fiction and recently received the 2016 Reader's Favorite Bronze Medal in the category of Tall Tales.

In spite of the title, A Rabbit's Tale is not for young children. It is suitable for ages 13+.

His second book, "Persistent Evil," is a standalone novel that picks up where "A Rabbit's Tale" ends. His third book, "The Francis Conspiracy," is currently in the works.
