M. C. Syben's Young-Adult debut evolved after discovering a passion for writing fiction in 2010. Since then, she writes daily, honing her craft and finds writing a natural extension to her eighteen-year career as an entertainer, writing award-winning music and lyrics.

Syben is a world-traveled, mom who attended Florida State College and University of North Florida, Jacksonville. She lives in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, Florida with two doting dogs and one cat with attitude.
