Why the author wrote this book:
I spent almost my entire life in the Northeast, amidst major (birth) family opposition. After I transformed into fiction my own traumatic early beliefs (above), God led me step by step through crafting a salvation arc for an unnurtured, rebellious teen—and a troubled horse with whom she identifies. This novel, and its accompanying screenplay for which I'm seeking a producer, is for lost sheep.
