After graduating from Tech with a business degree, Tom becomes an Atlanta fireman which allows him time to also run his farm. Other than trying to outsmart a serial arsonist in Atlanta, Tom's life is somewhat normal but often lonely...even with his great group of friends. That is until he meets a young woman. Then physical attacks against him begin in Rockbridge. What was normal suddenly turns complicated.

Why the author wrote this book:

It was a book I've wanted to write for years but couldn't break out of the "I've never written a book before" mindset. It's dedicated specifically to my father who was a fireman and to two of my friends who were policemen their entire career.
