Why the author wrote this book:

The idea came to me a two-part dream. One with a child born with a congenital limb deficiency. Why was she so special, even though the world sees her as having a disability. The other dream came to me about two people who came to the marriage table with expectations of what a perfect marriage and family is supposed to be. I joined the two concepts together to show that love can shine through when one surrenders all expectations.
