Maybe God Was an Irishman

By Bernie Donnelly

Description:

"Maybe God was an Irishman" recounts the story of the Second Coming within a modern day drama. It was inspired by events in the Gospel. "The complexities of religion, faith, love and tragedy tangle in the pages, an entertaining and insightful novel. With an overflowing cast of peripheral characters and multiple story lines that brilliantly overlap, this is an expansive novel that stretches across oceans and philosophies, making it an addictive read for anyone who appreciates clever writing and heartfelt narratives. The end of this novel will leave readers uplifted and refreshed -spiritually, emotionally and philosophically - regardless of one's particular religious beliefs or opinions. That is the sign of a truly great book, and a very talented writer." - SPR Review Dec'16

Book Takeaway:

It will make you think about your faith, human nature and eternal life.

Why the author wrote this book:

I had lost my faith for so long. I knew that something was missing in my life, as it was/is in many people's lives. I studied everything I could get my hands on relating to Jesus and the Gospel. I wanted to help people understand the Gospel and it's miracles by translating them into today's society. I'm hoping that my book re-kindles people's faith or strengthens it. It was time I re-paid God for all of the things he's done for me.
