Mild-mannered janitor and superhero fanboy Dave Johnson gets all his wishes at once when a symbiotic alien gives him supernatural powers. But what's he to do with them? Follow his zany adventures as he fights crime and corruption while trying to keep his family together and avoid being sued for copyright infringement.

Book Takeaway:

Real heroes aren't caped crusaders wearing tights, but those who give sacrificially of themselves.

Why the author wrote this book:

Adam wrote this book after reading Who Needs a Superhero? by H. Michael Brewer, which relates superheros symbolically to the gospel narrative--Superman representing Jesus, and Batman legalistic attempts by man to save themselves, and the Hulk the sin nature. We use the tropes of the superhero genre in like fashion, making the reader laugh a lot while slipping in serious points.
