Reunion For Two

By Susan C. Fischer

Description:

Did you ever have a friend that you may not have spoken with in years, but when you are finally face to face, it's like you were never apart? That's how it is with Kathleen and Juliet.

Best friends since junior high school, Kathleen Landon and Juliet Bateman promise to get together in the future as often as they can. Through the years, they hug, catch up, disagree, cry, and laugh. They support each other through the difficult times and they celebrate the good times. Current events and songs of the 60's through the present serve as a backdrop for these women as we see them mature.

Some of their reunions are calm. Some are contentious. But they are always entertaining. Over the years, Kathleen and Juliet discover the value of true friendship and love.

Why the author wrote this book:

I imagined what it would be like if I would have stayed close friends with my best friend in junior high school, how we would have interacted and supported each other over the years, and that resulted in this novel.
