Book Takeaway:

We all have an enemy, and we need each other to combat him. Authenticity and vulnerability lead the way to godly friendship and trust that can't be broken. In spite of our brokenness, Jesus brings healing and help no matter what our past.

Why the author wrote this book:

I wrote this book as a read-aloud for my five teenagers when they were struggling to love one another and themselves. They were listening to the cruel voices of the enemy of their souls. "Stupid. Weak. Worthless. Impossible to Love." I wanted to help my kids learn to discern the voice of the enemy and to engage with Jesus in their earthly relationships with the parents and siblings. This book paints a picture of godly siblings and the power of love to change the world. It has a sweet, clean romance that will call your sons and daughters the kingdom values of valor and virtue. It's also meant to help teens and young adults process their upbringing in a healthy way - with godly friends and especially with the Lord.
