Author Bio:

D’Ann was previously a businesswoman with a successful marketing career at AT&T/Lucent Technologies. After being elected to the prestigious “Council of Leaders” for the second time, she was offered the fast-track program.

Instead, she and her husband adopted a two and a five year old sibling pair from a third world orphanage. At that point, D’Ann entered her most important and most challenging career- that of “Home Management Director”, where she says: “The work never-ends but the rewards are eternal.”

D’Ann’s new career took on an additional level of challenge when their son was diagnosed with autism. She plunged into that world, and is now a speaker on topics relating to strength through adversity. Her first novel “Dancing From the Shadows” was published by Ambassador International in November, 2012.

When not fully occupied as a home manager and writer, D’Ann advocates for special needs children and is the director of her church’s Guatemala Child Sponsorship Program.

D’Ann and Bruce, her husband of almost 30 years, Bruce, live in Johns Creek, GA. Their two children are Sophia and Luke. The Renner household, including their American Bulldog Cocoa, are managed by two cats, Scarlett and Cashew.
