Author Bio:

The Land of the Long White Cloud, that’s what they call it, the small island nation of New Zealand that I call my home. Down under, sandwiched between Australia and Antarctica, that’s where I live with my wife and two cats in our largest city called Auckland. By the world’s standards it’s a small city of 1.6 million people, but considering our population is only 5 million, it’s a sizeable chunk of our nation compacted into an isthmus near the top of the North island.
I was raised in a very dysfunctional Christian home and suffered a number of childhood traumas.
I've been writing creatively since I was a young child, when I was nine I wrote a 26 page story at school which my classmates found hysterically funny and garnered me a lot of friends. But that only lasted so long. When it came to middle-school I fell into depression because of family dramas, that and my so-called friends were giving me quite a hard time. So I know what it is like to be misunderstood.
I've had a long bloody battle with mental health, including four stays in hospital in the past three years. I've found that writing is one of God's gifts to ease the pressure on my mind and help me make sense of the world around me. If I don't write, my overactive imagination is not my friend.
My first Novel, The Ulterior Motive was inspired by a nine-year-old boy not unlike myself at that age. My wife is a primary school teacher and one day she shared a wonderful story with me that this boy Nathan had written. It inspired me to take on a new challenge and discover a passion I had long forgotten. It was two years in the making and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process, but due to other work and my mental health deteriorating I stopped writing for a time. It was a mistake, I’m writing daily again now.
To glorify God and bring others joy, I write to fulfill these goals.
I hope you enjoy my work.
