Diana L. Sharples
Author Bio:
Diana Sharples is the former co-editor of Electric Wine Magazine, on online science fiction/fantasy/horror magazine published from 1999 to 2001. She has a degree in communication design/illustration from the Atlanta College of Art, and for several years pursued a career in science fiction/fantasy illustration. Diana’s artwork won numerous awards and was featured in publications in the US and Britain. Diana was also a member of a critique group consisting of professional writers in the SF/F/H field. After accepting Christ as her Savior in 2001, Diana left the SF/F genre and for four years studied the Bible and Christian apologetics. In 2005, concerned about the lack of God-honoring values in teen fiction available for her daughter to read, she began work on a series of young adult novels for Christian teens. It’s been quite a ride since then! Diana is the moderator of an online critique group specifically for Christian writers of young adult fiction. In 2009, Diana was a double finalist in ACFW’s Genesis competition in the YA category. She is represented by Terry Burns of Hartline Literary Agency.
