Like a Love Song

By Camille Eide

Description:

When she finally surrenders her heart, will it be too late?
Susan Quinn, a social worker turned surrogate mom to foster teens, fights to save the group home she’s worked hard to build. But now, she faces a dwindling staff, foreclosure, and old heartaches that won't stay buried. Her only hope lies with the last person she’d ever turn to—a brawny handyman with a guitar, a questionable past, and a God he keeps calling Father.

Like a Love Song was a 2011 ACFW Genesis Award winner (as My Father's House) in Women's Fiction. It recently received a Romantic Times 4 1/2 star Top Pick review.

Why the author wrote this book:

For so many hurting people, the ability to trust and to feel love and accepted is so difficult without the healing touch of the Father. This is a love story within a love story. I know of and can relate to people like Sue and these unwanted children, and also can relate to discovering the Father heart of God and his unfailing love.
