Working as a detective with her husband's best friend Ted Mcallister she’d be able to keep out of the limelight and still make ends meet.

Ted had to pull some strings to get Trix a job at the detective agency, but he knew her grit made her perfect for the job and would bring her back to Ashland. She wouldn’t be happy until Mr. and Mrs. Ponds were behind bars. He promised to help her solve Ron’s murder, which wouldn’t be easy, but the hardest part would be revealing his true feelings for her.
