Randy reached the woods. “I can’t risk losing my temper with her.”
Years of that very danger flashed through his mind. Of course, their relationship hadn’t always been potentially volatile. Jordan’s disposition was often sweet. She never used to yell. But these days, she seemed bent on his losing control.
He glanced up at a sky filled with dancing tree limbs. “Please help us, Lord.”
