I've been a pet owner all my life, so when Janice Thompson came to me with an idea for a cozy mystery with romance series set in a veterinarian clinic in Brenham, Texas, I was thrilled. This book features a second chance romance with high school friends--which mirrors my life a bit--and two mischievous English Springer Spaniels who look exactly like my sweet dog, Bandit who went to puppy heaven in 2007.
