Why the author wrote this book:

I've always liked the anti-hero. And since becoming a Christian about twenty years ago, I've studied the life of Paul, who was a murderer and yet chosen by God. Therefore, what about now? I wanted to write about a man who is drawn into what most would consider an evil lifestyle but realizes he's missing something. And when he meets a Christian woman who is like no other woman he's ever met, he starts on a journey of redemption.
