Why the author wrote this book:

A Reckless Love is the third and final book in the Daughtry House series, which explores the recovery of a family of three sisters, left destitute in the aftermath of the Civil War. In telling the story of the youngest Daughtry sister, Aurora, I wanted to explore the application of Christian hope and joy in the reality of violence, cynicism, and mistrust.
