Evelyn is done with promises.

Mark Miller isn't thrilled when the WAVES arrive to work on the navy's top secret project in Dayton, Ohio. He figures the distraction they cause doesn't justify the assistance they provide. That is until a certain beautiful ensign starts offering suggestions that may provide the breakthrough the engineers need to succeed in their mission.

When the actions of a spy put both Evelyn and Mark under suspicion, will the investigation make their relationship another casualty of war, or will it bring the birth of the true promise of love?

Why the author wrote this book:

When I discovered that the second most top secret project of World War II occurred in Dayton, OH, I knew I had to write about it. Add in WAVES and engineers and it became a fun book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
