Why the author wrote this book:

I've always loved historical romance novels set in medieval Scotland. Even though Highland Blessings is set in the 15th century, highlanders were reluctant to let go of the old ways. I loved the movie Braveheart, but I thought it was possible to write a romantic story in that setting with a Christian-based theme. I hope readers will enjoy it! The sequel, Highland Sanctuary, will release Oct 2011.
