BLUE MOON, Moonstruck Series #3

By Linda Windsor

Description:

A warmhearted adventure with a laugh at every turn, a generous dose of suspense, and a liberal sprinkling of tropical moonlight.

When archeologist Jeanne Madison locates a sunken Spanish ship off the Mexican coast, she’s sure it’s a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity. If she can salvage the Luna Azul—the Blue Moon—she can also save her big brothers’ underfunded Mexican mission project and secure her professional reputation. She’ll do it too, if the cynical captain she’s hired can keep his rust-bucket of a ship afloat long enough to bring up the artifacts. And if she can keep herself from throwing him overboard—or falling into his arms. It’s dreamer vs. schemer in a bantering battle of wills . . . until another player joins the game and the stakes rise.

Book Takeaway:

I hope the reader will once again have enjoyed the journey--the diving expedition, the dangerous competition, the humor of adapting to a different culture and the heroine's unique companions, and the romance of course. Jenna's unwavering faith and Gabe's turnabout from her witness is meant to touch the ones who gave up and encourage them to try again. And for the faithful, it's encouragement to hold on to that faith, even when God doesn't seem anywhere around. Live, love, laugh and pray with the crew of the Blue Moon.

Why the author wrote this book:

This is the third in the Moonstruck trilogy about the Madison siblings featuring baby sister Jenna. I love armchair diving/treasure hunting and wanted a romantic Clive Cussler twist to end this series. The Mexican coast is rich with sunken treasure waiting to be found, so it's the perfect spot for Jenna and Gabe. My daughter and I took a trip to the Yucatan just before I wrote this and it really helped me bring the setting to life. I got to live vicariously through my heroine on a treasure hunt surrounded by eccentric characters and a precocious dog. And Gabe, well I just love this reluctant hero.
