In A TALE OF SOULS, each character - both fictional and real - had to decide whether to obey the policies of the current government or to obey their religious conscience. We face a similar choice today. Do we follow the prevailing ideology from whatever source it comes? Or do we remain true to our beliefs whatever the cost?

Why the author wrote this book:

Since Tyndale and my main fictional characters were still alive and doing things in my head after I wrote THE RUBY RING, Battle for an English Bible, the only way I could get a good night's sleep was to let them escape onto paper - or onto the computer screen. I also wrote it to show Christians today what our ancestors of the faith were willing to sacrifice to remain true to their beliefs.
