Why the author wrote this book:

In my Small Town Series, David Maguire is the son of Nadia Maguire from A Harvest of Blessings. I longed to tell his story, as well, so I decided a romantic suspense would be appropriate. I wanted to get him and Jada Atwood in as much trouble as possible.
