Why the author wrote this book:

I was contacted by one of my readers of "Love Remembered" and "Love Abounds". These books were based on the care of a a child with spina bifida. The reader thought she was the oldest survivor with spina bifida. She was married and had a responsible government job. Together we co-authored a book based very loosely on her personal experiences.
