Why the author wrote this book:

The power of mentoring is vital for spiritual growth. Much has been written from the viewpoint of the young, but little has been written from the viewpoint of the mature woman. When I was a young woman living in Montana away from my family, two older women had a profound impact on my life and I based the impact of the heroines life on the influence these women had on my own life.
