Few men in history can compare with David's charismatic personality and Adonis good looks. His features were so strong and so handsome that women vied for his attention. As a warrior who killed thousands in battle, his troops openly adored him. Yet, King Saul, and others, were hell-bent on killing him. Saul's son Jonathan--Saul's son and next in line for the throne--not only befriended David, but saved his life on more than one occasion.
