His (Desert) Story

By Sara Nicole

Description:

The shepherd, Habib, loves his wife, Ariella, dearly.
When her love is taken from him, he will stop at nothing to get it back.
Slave masters, gypsies, bandits, betrayal, even wild beasts... Habib will face them all in order to win back his bride.

From the back cover:
Habib loves his wife. If only he could make her love him back.
Ariella despises her husband. All she wants him to do is leave her alone.
The more Habib tries to woo his wife, the more she pushes him away and runs into arms of men who know no discretion, no restraint, and no respect.
Over time, Ariella's philandering ways cost her husband more than just the pain in his heart. To win her back may cost his fortune, his flocks, his honor, his beloved children, and it may even cost his life.

Book Takeaway:

No matter our sins, no matter how hard we push away or how far we run or for how long we hide, God always loves us and desires us.

Why the author wrote this book:

In the Old Testament, the analogy is often used of Israel being the unfaithful wife to God. I took all the Bible passages about that and used them for my outline for this book, showing the analogy from the perspective of the husband.
