I believe real justice seeks restoration, not retribution. Accountability and punishment are not ends in themselves, but a means to restoration where victim, offender, and community work together to forgive and restore what was lost. I wrote Perilous Judgment to explore how mercy could trump judgment inside a corrupt system when someone responsible for administering justice chooses love over law.
