An Endless Christmas: A Novella

By Cynthia Ruchti

Description:

On the way to Christmas with his family, Micah asks Katie to marry him. She says no, but there is no getting out of Christmas now. The Binder family celebrates every Christmas as if it were their last. Too many people, too much snow, and too little room should be a recipe for disaster. But sometimes too much is just enough. Especially when it's Christmas.

Book Takeaway:

Celebrating life in all its beauty and awkwardness, its charms and challenges, its joy moments and its jolts can come full circle at Christmas. Living each moment to the full--not knowing if it will be our last opportunity--enriches the moment and the relationships around us.

Why the author wrote this book:

It's so easy for the Christmas holiday to come and go without time for reflection on the important, heartwarming, heart-tugging, inspiring reasons we have a holiday to celebrate. Coming from a family that loves like crazy and forgives even more freely, I took cues from those amazing people while creating the Binder family with their uniqueness and exceptional grace. Imagination played a strong role in creating An Endless Christmas. I didn't realize when writing it that I would be so deeply moved by this story.
