Why the author wrote this book:

This was my first Christian romance, originally written as a secular novel. I didn't think as a fairly new, or born again Christian, that I was "holy" enough to write for God, but at the encouragement of friends and a dry secular market, I decided to try. I went to CBA like Jonah to Ninevah writing inspirational romance, but when God calls one, one will eventually go. I went to Ninevah and I've never looked back. Praise the Lord for forcing me to cross over and give Him my writing as well as my music, which my late hubby and I (former members of country/old Rock and Roll band) had already dedicated to him.
