Book Takeaway:Taking charge of what belongs to God is so easy, especially for those of us who want to do something rather than wait on Him. The good news is, He is always right on time and ready to save--even those whose troubles were brought on by themselves. Awards:
Why the author wrote this book:I fell in love with the sweeping views from the balcony of the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. While sitting in one of the hotel's rockers, I began to imagine a conversation between Flora and her grandmother Millicent Merriweather Brimm (an intrepid Southern version of Dame Maggie Smith's Downton Abbey character the Dowager Countess). That conversation became the centerpiece of this novel. |
