Pedigreed BloodlinesBy Sandra RobbinsDescription:
When Leigh Dennison's dear friend and champion show-dog breeder, Addie Jordan, is killed, Leigh goes on the hunt to sniff out the murderer. If only she could devote more time to her sleuthing. . .But Leigh, who has never been a dog lover, now finds herself as the owner of Addie's kennel, which houses a puppy with a bright future in the show ring. Book Takeaway:In the book Leigh, the heroine, faces the difficulty of living with Attention Deficit Disorder. I hope readers will see how those who suffer with this problem are very intelligent individuals and can be successful in life. I also hope that readers will come to realize that Jesus taught us to love one another, and we need to follow His example in our dealings with those around us. Awards:
Why the author wrote this book:When I was a child, I was a big Nancy Drew fan and imagined myself on all of Nancy's adventures. When Barbour began their Heartsong Presents Mysteries line, I wanted to write something that would encompass the sleuthing skills of Nancy Drew and the peace that comes from knowing God is in control of our lives. It gave me great pleasure to bring Leigh's story to life. |
