Why the author wrote this book:Before I started the Protection Specialists series, I had introduced Kyle Martin in my 2009 release Chasing Shadows. I really liked him and wanted to write his story. But I needed the perfect heroine, someone who he'd have to work to impress. I liked the idea of a doctor needed to be protected and developed Brenda. On the outside she has it all together but inside, she is far from perfect. Together these two were fun characters to write and the story came together easily. |
