Why the author wrote this book:

In today's world, many Christian artists are crossing over to mainstream channels. Some have maintained their outward expressions of faith, while others have caved to the demands of the music world in the name of compromise. I sing on my church's worship team and have felt the struggle, too.

I like to write stories about characters who have found themselves sucked down into a hole that they don't know how to get out of. Then along comes someone who sees more inside of them than they can see themselves. It is this connection, and the struggles between them, that makes the story.
