Return of the Lost Ones

By David Joseph Liberto

Description:

Pol, the heir of a fallen warrior lineage, longs to restore his family's honor. Stefan, an entrepreneur and fifth son of the quon, is one misstep away from ruin. When a shadowy assassin strikes at the heart of the realm, their fates become entwined.

Commissioned to a remote frontier village under siege, Pol and Stefan uncover a chilling truth: villagers are vanishing, and the horrors of legend are no longer myths. To survive, they must set aside their differences and unravel the secrets buried in the forest before an ancient darkness consumes them all.

Book Takeaway:

Our success in rejecting temptation often depends upon who we surround ourselves with. Alone we will fail. With God, who places companions in our lives, we can overcome anything.

Why the author wrote this book:

This was my debut novel, an epic fantasy story about two enemies-to-brothers, that reflected my own struggles with choosing God over the world in my formative years. I wrote the entire series as a means of sharing God's teachings through stories, my sub-created parables.
