Why the author wrote this book:

I wrote this book after our family trip to Kenya where we met George and his mother. Our kids helped sponsor George to attend school, and when we learned how excited he and his mother were, I had to tell the story. Our children learned joy and contentment from the people of Kenya that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
