Author Bio:

Alice J. Wisler grew up as a missionary kid in Japan, always writing stories when she got bored from fighting with her younger brother. Her first novel is Rain Song (Christy Finalist 2009), followed by How Sweet It Is (Christy Finalist 2010), and Hatteras Girl. A Wedding Invitation was released October 2011 and Still Life in Shadows in 2012 and Under the Silk Hibiscus in 2014. Alice also teaches grief-writing workshops---Wriitng the Heartache---and speaks at conferences, retreats, and seminars in memory of her son Daniel who died from cancer treatments at the age of four in 1997.
